Barbara Ann Whitsett 77, Born November 15, 1944 but celebrated November 22nd, of Greensboro NC, God called upon his angels to carry her home December 12th, 2021. She was the daughter of the Late Raymond William and Minnie Sue Jordan. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Holman Whitsett Jr. Her sisters and brother Gloria Thompson, Ada Madkins, and Calvin Jordan. Barbara Attended James B. Dudley High School where she graduated then proceeded to be a great boss and inspired her employees to be their best selves. Barbara worked for three major Hotel companies Howard Johnson known as “Big B”, Best Western, and Ramada Inn until the company shut down. Barbara was intelligent, very hardworking, funny, full of wisdom, a lover, healer and a helping hand to those she loved. Mrs. Whitsett was very creative and loved her arts and crafts. And let’s not forget a Dancing machine! She leaves to cherish her memory: Her two Daughters and step daughter Sherry Whitsett(Rob Summers), Kimberly Whitsett Malone(Teaco), Marilyn Goldsmith. One Son Holman Whitsett III. Sisters: Marie Richardson, Judy Whitsett, Loretta Jordan. Brothers: Ralph Jordan, David Jordan. Fourteen grandchildren, and Twenty two Great grandchildren. A special Daughter: Juline Fletcher and her beloved companion Terry Whitsett(Her Dog). along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
