Derrick Clegg, 41 passed away, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Moses Cone hospital. Born July 23, 1980 in Savannah, Georgia he later moved to Greensboro, NC with his parents
Richard Clegg and Shirley Lanier Clegg in September 1982. He was a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School where he had a decorated varsity basketball career.
He held several jobs most notable was Flowers Food in High Point where he was employed over ten years. He opened his own photography business and found this to be his
true calling. He creatively mastered the art of capturing the most profound moments in time the the lens of a camera. This talent afforded him the opportunity to work with many clients
and celebrities and his work was also featured in a number of well known publications. He was also awarded " Photographer of the Year" in 2014-2015 Charlotte, NC.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his son Derrick Clegg; one daughter; Delayna Clegg; his father; Richard ( Deborah) Clegg, one brother; Richard Clegg, one sister Cyera Clegg; two
uncles; Rev. Robert Clegg; and Theodore Clegg Jr. (Shirl) three aunts; Juanita Clegg Sherrod; Brenda Clegg Gray and Joanne Clegg Terry; and his fiance'; Demetria Chrisp and six children
and host of other relatives and friends.
