Dorothy Ann Christian

Dorothy Christian, (Dot), as she is known to many, age 66 from High Point peacefully slipped away and transitioned to her heavenly home on May 29th 2022.

Dot was born in High Point, NC to Mr. Fred Christian Jr. and Mrs. Mary Lennon Christian. She was employed for many years at Slane Hosiery in High Point.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nannie Ree Wall and Alice Watkins; two brothers, Earnell Christian Sr. and Bobby Christian; two nieces, Rena Little and Tamika Daniels and two nephews, Haywood Watkins and Patrick Little.

Dot graduated from High Point Central High school in High Point, NC.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She loved traveling, shopping and attending cookouts and family functions. Dot was always (the life of the party) and her smile would brighten up the room. She loved to make people laugh with her jokes, often leaving you looking at each other and asking “did she just say that“, and everyone would just bust out laughing. One thing about Dot, she loved to laugh, sing, dance and EAT, but most of all she loved GOD!

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Superior Christian and Shene (Michael) Christian-Wilson; six grandchildren, Anayshia Young, Jazmine Wilson, Aniya Young, MJ Wilson, Kameron Christian and Bria Brewington; sisters,  Betty Christian-Smith (John) and Cathy Christian; Brother, Frederick (Beauty) Christian; aunt, Juanita Christian and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend
