Elnora Coe Rose, 84, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her residence.
She leaves to mourn, her “pride and joy”, her sons Al Coe of Fayetteville, NC, Lee Coe of Greensboro, NC, Ray Rose of Atlanta, GA, and Earl Rose (Tara) of Dallas, TX. She also leaves her younger sister Ada Bell Coe Henderson of Greensboro, NC, and a younger brother James Coe Sr. (Anna), of Greensboro, NC. Along with her 12 grandchildren, she leaves 12 great grandchildren, 5 nieces, 3 nephews, and a host of other close family and friends.
One of her biggest joys was being a member of St. Phillip AME Zion Church, where she served as a Deaconess, as well as a Class Leader. Every Sunday morning, you could find her on the 3rd row, right in front of the Pastor.
