Mr. Glenn Lucas, Sr. , transitioned peacefully Monday, October 20, 2020 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.
Born in Roberson County he was the son of the late Elizabeth Lucas. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Deese Lucas. Also preceded in death by a grandson Lucas J. Wooten.
Mr. Lucas was employed for many years in the construction industry. He proud of his heritage Lumbee Indian.
(Luke) as he was affectionately called was the original founder of the "Jokers" motorcycle club. He an avid motorcyclist
and enjoyed spending time with friends at Willie's. He also enjoyed riding horses with his daughter Glenda and grandson Cody, at love Valley.
He was very well known as "Chief" in the horse world. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Glenn Lucas, Jr. of Winston- Salem, two daughters, Glenda Lucas Lewis also of Winston-Salem and Elizabeth Lucas, grandson, Cody Lewis and one great- grand daughter Marina Rose Wooten, A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
