James Thornton Obituary

James A. Thornton, 84, passed away Friday , February 12, 2021 at Cone Green Valley hospital. Born in Rockingham county to the late Sam Thornton and Irene Jones Thornton.

Survivors include; wife, Mary Thornton, three sons, Pastor Jimmy Mack (Debra), Julius Ray Thornton ( Tammy), and Manuel Lee Mack, four daughters, Ida Mack Bigelow, Phyllis Mack Serrano, Shirley Mack- Clark ( Donald) and Irene Morgan Thornton and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
