Lindsay Shirrod (Boo Cat) Foster was born Feb 7, 1967 to the late Lavalas Foster Sr and Mae Frances Foster.
Boo Cat was a proud product of Morningside Homes affectionally known as The Grove. He would grow up to be an athletic star on every level he played, and graduated from Page High School in 1985. Upon leaving Page High School, he would attend Louisburg Junior College and while there he would be drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1986. After a lengthy career in the major league baseball system, he would eventually come back home to Greensboro to be with his family. Boo Cat is a knee baby to a family of seven children( six boys and one girl). He is preceded in death by his siblings Wanda Foster Washington and Ronald Louis Foster. Survived by his brothers, Lavalas Foster Jr. (Durham), Mark Aaron Foster(Tammy)(Greensboro), Michael Foster (Greensboro), Chris Foster(Vernessa)(Browns Summit). He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews that adored their uncle Boo Cat.
