Late Monday evening of November 1, 2021, God dispatched his Angels to bring his child home.
Mary Della Elizabeth Gilmer was born September 1, 1928 to the late Nora & Will Gilmer of Guilford County. She resided in Winston – Salem, NC for many years.
Mary attended the Guilford County School system. She worked as a Housekeeper for 40+ years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin R. Miller, two brothers, Franklin Gilmer and Arthur Gilmore, sister, Frances Jessup, granddaughter, Brandy L. Bass, and grandson, Abshard L. Bass, great-granddaughter, Aebonea M. Hughes-Lore and son-in-law, Hubert L. Bass.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Mary Bass (Hubert), Katherine Miller (Ronnie), and Virginia Boyd (Kenny), daughter-in-law, Regina Miller, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
