Patricia E. Paulin, born March 16, 1947 to Frankie Hamilton and George Lee and is one of nine children. Patricia was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  In Patricia’s early life, she graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, and later pursued coursework and training toward her interest in Nursing.  Throughout her work life, Patricia worked in the mortgage and retail fields and raised her daughters in Queens and Long Island, NY.

Patricia moved to Greensboro, NC nine years ago with her loving and devoted husband of 27 years, 3 months and 1day, James Paulin.  Together they built a warm, happy home and shared a wonderful life with new and longtime friends Jimmy Mitchell and Diane Washington, and became members of St. James Church.  Patricia also spent time providing service to the community, helping to provide meals to those in need through the International Resource Center for the Homeless.  She also enjoyed cooking, knitting and cultivating a comforting home.

On the morning of Sunday, November 21, 2021, our Heavenly Father called his lovely servant and our beloved wife and mother home.

Patricia is survived by her dedicated husband James Paulin.  Patricia also leaves to cherish her memory by siblings Sonny, Michael, Shun, Rosalind, Sheilah, David, and has gone home to join her sisters Jeanne and Dorothy; she is also survived by her children, Donnalyn, Kimberly, Michelle, Juanita, and Caprice; her grandchildren, Remilio, Matthew, David, Katrell, Chris, Barry, Brianna, Gregory, Khristana and Cynleythia; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Kaden, DaVeah and many nephews, nieces and loving members of family, extended family and friends.
