Peter Vonn Wilson

Mr. Peter Vonn Wilson entered God’s waiting arms on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Manhattan, NY, Peter grew up in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY where he attended public school.  He obtained his high school diploma in 2021.

A talented singer, Peter sang in several groups in the 1990s and auditioned to sing in the popular group Jodeci. He was employed by DB Schenker in Browns Summit, NC.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elmira Wilson and a granddaughter, Raylee Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Virna “Lisa” Withers.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Shaquan and Shyasia Wilson of NY, Tykeem of Connecticut, Sharyanna of Charlotte, NC, Reginald Stubblefield (Tiffaine) and Randall Stubblefield (Danielle) of Reidsville, NC; his mother, Shirley Wilson of Greensboro, NC; father and stepmother, Alphonzia and Carla Evans; grandmother, Mable Evans of Winston-Salem, NC; siblings, Marc Wilson of Seattle, WA, Paul Wilson (Tracy) of Madison, NC, Tony of Chicago, IL, Nicole and David Diaz (Sheriziod) of Winston-Salem, four and half (4 ½) grandchildren, and special friends, Pamela McLaurin, Charles “Shaka”, Jamie Upshur, Conchita Santiage and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
