Ralph Dickerson was born on July 26, 1958, in Danville, Virginia to the late Albert and Nannie Kate Dickerson. Sadly, he died on March 27, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Ralph Dickerson was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, finding strength and purpose in his faith. He cherished time spent with family and friends during times of vacationing, going out to eat or engaging in long phone conversations. His love for life’s simple blessings was evident to all who knew him. He was a passionate supporter of the Duke Basketball Team, rarely missing a game where he took great joy cheering on his favorite team. Ralph was known to be generous and kind with his time and energy. He loved doing what he could to help others.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nannie Kate Dickerson; as well as his sister Joan Marie Dickerson.
Ralph is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Judy Dickerson of Greensboro, NC; his son, Adrain Dickerson of Alexandria, VA; stepdaughter, Shettakka Young of Atlanta, GA; and stepson, Sammy Young (Jamichella) of Greensboro, NC. He is also remembered by his siblings: Clarence Dickerson (Nancy) of Chatham, VA; Ronnie Dickerson of Danville, VA; Sharon Dickerson of Danville, VA; Jennifer Hairston of Danville, VA and Nancy (David) Harrison of Danville, VA.
