Tim was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Glen and Audrey Barnette. He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Barnette, his sons, Timothy Barnette Jr (Heather) and Clayton Barnette (Macy), his daughters, Casey Simmons (James) and Cammie Lindahl (Julian), his step-daughter Kayla Manuel (Jeremy) and his Sister, Tonie Broadway. He was a wonderful Pawpaw to his grandchildren, Maegan, Tyson, Quaylen, Audrea, Nevaeh, Jase, and Kaislee. Tim also had several nephews, a niece, great nephews, and great nieces.
Tim led a full life of family, friends and service to his country and community. As a young boy he was an Eagle Scout. He served in the Marines from 1974-1980. He was a youth football coach and a volunteer firefighter. He worked hard to provide for his family as a plumber. He was loved by so many friends and family, including his Herbies family and best friend Lewis. Tim counted on Lewis for so much and he was at Tim’s side no matter what. That friendship meant the world to Tim.
In 2013, Tim was diagnosed with cancer. He was a strong proud man, father, and husband, always making sure everyone was doing ok. He was a true fighter through and through and beat the cancer two times. This last battle was long and hard but God said, “Well done, good and faithful servant” and took him home where he will forever be at peace. He will truly be missed and will always be loved. We will see you on the other side, until then, WeLoveYou!
