Tobin Alexis Wilson

Tobin Wilson, 53, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Beacon Place.

Tobin Alexis was born on October 26, 1970 in Greensboro, N.C. to Rudolph and Ernestine Wagstaff Wilson.  He graduated from Eastern Guilford High School in McLeansville, N.C. and attended A & T State University in Greensboro, N.C.

            At an early age, Tobin attended Smith Grove Baptist Church in Lexington, N.C.  As a teenager he attended McLeansville First Baptist Church in Gibsonville N.C.

            Tobin was affectionally called Toby by his family, friends and coworkers.  He was employed by the City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation, Builders Transportation/Schneider Trucking Company and Old Castle Utilities Precasters.

            He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents.

            He leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Ernestine Wagstaff Wilson of Greensboro, N.C.; two brothers, Jonathan Wilson of Shiprock, New Mexico and Marcus Wilson of Sedalia, N.C.; one niece, Nia Wilson of Las Vegas, NV; one nephew, Joshua Wilson of Greensboro, N.C.; three God children, Quincy, Racheal and Ryleigh Massey of Greensboro, N.C. and a host of cousins.  Tobin also had three very close friends:  Tracy Forde, Kinnita Woodard and Robin Crawford.
